I took a short trip to Copper City, an old abandoned site used for ore processing from ~1900-1948. The drive was a lovely scenic route south from Bumping Lake. I did not go around the site of the ore mill to look for any of the remaining ore (too much arsenic for my taste), but it was still a fun excursion. The road was in quite good condition for being a forest service road. Overall it was a nice way to spend a few hours.
